Lead Host

- Remain calm, organized, and solution-oriented during high-volume service
- Maintain a positive, professional attitude; avoid gossip, conflict, or disruptive behavior
- Execute all reservation, seating, waitlist, and guest service procedures consistently and accurately
- Welcome and seat guests according to reservation status, floor rotation, and service standards
- Manage reservations, waitlists, and guest flow with accuracy and attention to detail
- Provide honest, professional wait-time estimates and proactively communicate updates
- Coordinate closely with managers and service staff to optimize pacing and table availability
- Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism and hospitality
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming host stand and entrance area
- Assist with clearing, resetting, and preparing tables as business demands
- Complete opening, closing, and side work responsibilities thoroughly and on time
- Minimum of 2 years of host or lead host experience in a full-service or upscale dining environment
- Excellent communication, organizational, and guest service skills
- Ability to remain composed and make sound decisions in a fast-paced setting
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively
- Comfortable using reservation and POS systems (OpenTable experience preferred)
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability required
