Custom Filters Direct is hiring a Shipping Lead to support daily fulfillment operations, help guide the team, and ensure orders are processed accurately and on time.

Schedule:
Monday through Friday
7:00 AM – 3:30 PM ( Overtime may be required based on business needs)

Compensation & Benefits:
• Hourly, non-exempt position – pay based on experience

Custom Filters Direct is a growing manufacturer specializing in custom air filters for eCommerce companies and direct fulfillment. Our operations are fast-paced, with high daily order volume and strict shipping deadlines.

Position Overview:
The Shipping Lead is responsible for supporting daily direct fulfillment operations, including coordinating high-volume shipments, helping manage tight lead times, and ensuring daily truck fills are completed on schedule. This is a hands-on role that requires working on the floor alongside pickers and shippers while also utilizing internal systems to manage orders, track shipments, and maintain accuracy. The ideal candidate is comfortable balancing physical work with computer-based tasks throughout the day.

Key Responsibilities:
• Support and coordinate daily shipping operations for high-volume direct fulfillment orders
• Help ensure all orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time
• Assist with daily truck fills and meeting shipping deadlines
• Provide guidance and support to pickers and shippers handling small parcel products
• Work on the floor to monitor workflow and help resolve issues in real time
• Communicate clearly with team members to maintain productivity and efficiency
• Utilize shipping and order management systems to process, track, and verify orders
• Maintain accurate data entry and ensure system updates reflect real-time operations
• Identify and resolve discrepancies between physical shipments and system records
• Maintain organization, accuracy, and attention to detail in all shipments
• Promote strong attendance and reliability within the team
• Follow all safety and operational procedures

Qualifications:
• Experience in high-volume shipping or fulfillment required*
• Previous lead or team support experience preferred
• Bilingual (required)*
• Strong communication skills with the ability to guide and support a team
• Hands-on work style with willingness to be on the floor throughout the shift
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good attendance and reliability required
• Basic to intermediate computer skills required (data entry, order systems, tracking shipments, etc.)*
• Experience using warehouse, shipping, or order management systems preferred
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

Physical Requirements:
• Ability to stand and move throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs
• Frequent bending, reaching, and handling materials
• Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
