Description:

• Performs manufacturing activities including the production and inspection of product to ensure it meets customer requirements.
• Responsble for soldering.
• The Manufacturing Associate will perform simple cable assembly and connector operations to build high-quality products.
• Convert raw materials into finished product
• Build product to standard rate
• Reads job order for product specifications
• Complete in-process inspections
• Interface with computer software to find documents and complete data entry.
• Builds simple point-to-point cables following drawings and instructions to a high level of quality and productivity
• Demonstrates proper use of basic hand tools: soldering gun, wrenches, hand strippers, trimmers, wire cutters, chop saw, rulers, microscope/magnifier
• Completes all necessary paperwork relating to the building of assemblies
• Depending on skills the person could be working in the assembly department or UTiFLEX department. UTiFlex is more so working on machines and supporting parts of the cable (taping, wrapping) and the employee is on their feet frequently

Pay & Shift:

• 1st and 2nd shift available
• Pay is $20/Hour-$24/Hour

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pottstown, PA.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
