Overnight Caregiver Needed - Support a Young Adult Living Independently (State College, PA)

Pay Rate: $15/hr

A young man living semi-independently in an apartment above his mother's garage in State College is seeking a dependable, calm, and supportive caregiver for overnight safety monitoring. He was recently admitted to the hospital for "seizure-like" activity-though no seizure was confirmed-and has since returned to his normal routine. To ensure his continued health and safety, he is looking for additional overnight and weekend support.

This role is ideal for someone who values steady work and wants to make a meaningful difference in someone's life while providing peace of mind to a caring family.

Schedule Needed

Monday-Sunday: 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Consistent overnight shifts

Located in State College, PA

What You'll Help With

• Overnight supervision to ensure health and safety

• Light support as needed

• Maintaining a calm, reassuring presence

• Basic assistance if any concerns arise during the night

This is a low-behavior, low-personal-care role.

There are no pets in the home.

• The family requires a second screening to ensure the caregiver is a good fit

Signing Bonus Details

• $333 after 90 days (minimum 20 hours/week)

• $333 after 6 months (minimum 20 hours/week)

• $334 after 1 year (minimum 20 hours/week)

Note: Bonus not available for Residential Services or Relative as Provider (RAP) hires. Applicants must not have worked for Abound Health or its affiliates within the past 18 months.
