Dental hygienist

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Dental Hygienist to join our clinical team. This role is designed for a professional who is passionate about oral health education and committed to providing thorough, high-standard preventative treatments. In this position, you will play a key role in patient assessments and the customization of care to ensure the long-term wellness of our community.

Job DescriptionClinical Procedures: Perform professional dental prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and the application of fluorides and sealants.
Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct thorough evaluations of teeth, bone, and periodontal tissues, documenting any abnormalities or suspected conditions.
Patient Education: Customize and deliver oral hygiene instruction to empower patients to improve their home care routines.
Surgical & Emergency Support: Aid the dentist with clinical procedures and manage dental emergencies as needed.
Sterilization & Safety: Manage the setup and sterilization of instruments while complying with all safety rules and regulations to maintain a pristine environment.
Confidentiality: Maintain strict patient confidentiality and adhere to all professional dental standards and ethics.
Salary Rangefull-time $45 - $47 per hour

Requirements- Basic life support
- Cardiopulmonary resuscitation
- Licensed dental hygienist
Licensure: Valid Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license for the state of Pennsylvania.
Education: Graduate of an accredited school of dental hygiene.
Certifications: Current CPR certification.
Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of dental terminology, equipment, and clinical practices.
Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication skills and a proven dedication to providing comprehensive care.
Safety: Ability to strictly follow safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for both staff and patients.
Preferences- Dentrix
Software: Previous experience with the Dentrix system is a plus, but we are happy to provide training.
Experience: Proven track record in a clinical setting focusing on customized patient care.
