A leading manufacturer of steel pipe, pipe coatings, and engine components, is seeking motivated and hardworking General Laborers to support the manufacturing operations. This entry-level position is crucial to maintaining efficient production flow and ensuring a safe, organized work environment. General Laborers will perform a variety of manual tasks, assist skilled trades, and contribute to the overall quality and productivity of the facilities.

While this role is seasonal, there is potential to hire the right candidate as long as work ethic, and attendance are up to par.

This is a hands-on, heavy manufacturing facility. The work environment can involve exposure to both warm and cool temperatures throughout the year. Due to the materials and processes involved in welding and fabrication, candidates should expect a workplace where personal protective equipment (PPE) is essential and clothing may become dirty.

Responsibilities:

• Learning how to safely handle steel
• Unloading and loading trucks
• Learning how to properly prepare steel surfaces for coating
• Potential to learn how to apply various paint systems.
• Ability to lift/push/pull
• And other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Previous experience in a manufacturing, construction, or similar industrial environment is a plus, but not required
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions
• Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all safety guidelines
• Ability to perform physical labor, including frequently lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally heavier with assistance
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and processes
• Basic math skills are beneficial
• Must be able to work effectively in a team-oriented setting
  Schedule:
  Monday - Friday 5am - 5pm (12 hour shifts)
