RN UNIT MANAGER | LTC | PENNSYLVANIA

Job Summary : -

• Job Title : RN- UNIT MANAGER
• Location : Carlisle, PA 17015
• Shift : Days, 7am-3:30pm
• Duration : 5 weeks with possible extension based on performance
• Guaranteed Hours : 40/week
• Pay : $2700-$2800/Weekly

Job Requirements:

• 2+ years of Long-Term Care (LTC) experience preferred.
• Prior managerial or supervisory nursing experience is required.

Job Duties : -

• Supervise and coordinate daily nursing operations within the LTC unit to ensure quality patient care and compliance with facility policies.
• Monitor residents’ health conditions, assess care needs, and ensure accurate implementation of individualized care plans.
• Provide leadership, guidance, and support to RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Manage staffing schedules, assignments, and workflow to maintain adequate patient coverage and operational efficiency.
• Ensure proper medication administration, treatment procedures, and infection control practices are followed according to state and federal regulations.
• Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary teams regarding patient care updates and concerns.
• Conduct chart audits, documentation reviews, and performance evaluations to maintain compliance and quality standards.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, resident incidents, and clinical concerns while ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
• Participate in staff training, onboarding, and quality improvement initiatives to enhance resident care outcomes and team performance.
