Asphalt Paver Operator – Join Our Growing Team!

Summary / Overview
We’re looking for several skilled Asphalt Paver Operators who takes pride in their work. In this role, you’ll safely operate paving equipment to place and level hot asphalt on roadways, parking lots, and driveways. You’ll work closely with dump trucks and crew members, monitor material flow, and perform daily equipment checks to ensure every project meets high?quality standards.

What You’ll Do

Operate With Skill & Precision

• Safely operate asphalt pavers, controlling speed, direction, and screed for even, consistent application.
• Coordinate material flow from dump trucks into the hopper to prevent segregation.
• Ensure asphalt is placed and compacted uniformly—whether by machine or hand.

Care for the Equipment

• Complete daily pre?shift inspections.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance, including lubrication, fluid checks, and minor repairs.
• Keep equipment clean, safe, and in optimal working condition.

Work as Part of a High?Performing Crew

• Maintain constant visual communication with screed operators, dump personnel, and truck drivers.
• Stay hyper?aware of surroundings, including utilities, curbs, overhead lines, and potential obstacles.
• Assist with general laborer tasks as needed to support the full paving operation.

Promote a Safe Work Environment

• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
• Work safely around traffic, heat, uneven terrain, and various environmental conditions.

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of experience operating heavy paving equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem?solving abilities.
• Ability to perform physically demanding outdoor work in all weather conditions.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for equipment care.
• Strong communication skills and team?oriented mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• CDL (especially with tanker endorsement) a plus.
