Maintenance Supervisor
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team in Chester, PA. In this role, you will oversee the maintenance operations of our facility, ensuring that all equipment and systems are functioning optimally. Your leadership will be key in fostering a safe and efficient work environment while managing a skilled team of maintenance professionals. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities and schedules.
- Lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance and support.
- Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to identify issues.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Manage maintenance budgets and track expenses.
- Coordinate with other departments to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices and safety procedures.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
- Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance practices.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues quickly.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Proficient in using maintenance management software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including on-call responsibilities.
