Travel Physical Therapist Job

TLC Healthforce
Lancaster, PA
Embark on a transformative journey as a Travel Physical Therapist in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, where your clinical expertise shapes recovery stories and empowers patients to reclaim movement, independence, and quality of life. This opportunity blends the fulfillment of specialized rehabilitation with the excitement of discovering a region renowned for its rich heritage, welcoming communities, and vibrant neighborhoods. In and around Lancaster, you’ll experience charming streets lined with boutique shops, farmer’s markets, and cultural venues, while the state around you reveals rolling farmland, rolling hills, and scenic landscapes that invite weekend explorations. Beyond the campus and clinic walls, Pennsylvania offers pristine parks, historic sites, and outdoor adventures that will refresh your perspective and complement your professional growth. Bring your compassion, your problem-solving mindset, and your passion for evidence-based practice to a role that honors both patient progress and clinician development.

Location benefits are meaningful and wide-ranging. Lancaster and its neighboring communities provide a supportive healthcare ecosystem with access to top-tier facilities and multidisciplinary teams that value collaborative care. The opportunity to work across multiple sites and even different regions within the United States broadens your professional horizons while maintaining a consistent standard of care. You’ll benefit from a patient-centric approach, where your evaluations, treatment plans, and outcomes are integral to a larger healing trajectory. The region’s accessibility, affordable living options, and strong quality-of-life offerings make it an appealing base for a rewarding travel assignment, with the chance to immerse yourself in diverse clinical cultures and patient populations. For professionals drawn to change, this role delivers the best of both worlds: meaningful clinical impact and the flexibility to experience the country’s landscapes, cuisines, and communities during your weeks on assignment.

In this position, you’ll serve as a Physical Therapist focused on the full spectrum of rehabilitative care. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, developing individualized treatment plans, and implementing evidence-based interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and function. You’ll document progress, adjust therapy approaches in collaboration with physicians and other clinicians, and educate patients and families to support continued recovery at home. You’ll contribute to program development by identifying gaps in care, promoting best practices, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. This travel-based role emphasizes adaptability and professional growth, offering exposure to diverse patient populations—ortho, neuro, pediatrics, geriatrics—and clinical settings. The position guarantees 40.0 hours per week, with a starting date of 03/16/2026 and a duration determined by the contract, ensuring you have a reliable schedule while you explore new locales. Weekly pay ranges from $2,213 to $2,326, with compensation details finalized during the onboarding process. In addition, you’ll have access to a comprehensive package that supports you from onboarding through ongoing assignments.

We place a premium on competitive benefits that recognize your expertise and your need for stability while you travel. A signing bonus is part of the package, along with robust housing assistance to ease transition between sites and minimize downtime between assignments. You’ll also enjoy extension opportunities that allow you to lengthen your contract if you wish to deepen your impact in particular locations or facilities. The role includes extensive support designed for traveling clinicians: 24/7 assistance from a dedicated support team, ready to assist with housing, logistics, credentialing, and any clinical or practical questions that arise on the road. This level of support ensures you can stay focused on patient care and your own professional wellbeing, preserving continuity of care and your peace of mind while you travel.

Our company values empower you to grow while maintaining a supportive, inclusive, and respectful work environment. We are committed to advancing your career through mentorship, ongoing education, and opportunities to assume leadership responsibilities as you gain experience across sites. You’ll be part of a culture that prioritizes collaboration, transparent communication, and recognition of clinical excellence. We celebrate the impact you have on patients’ lives and the communities you serve, and we invest in your development so you can pursue certification pursuits, specialized manual therapy training, or program leadership roles that align with your goals.

If you’re ready to join a company that truly respects your contributions and champions your professional development, this travel Physical Therapist opportunity is designed for you. You’ll experience meaningful clinical variety, reliable weekly hours, competitive compensation, and a supportive infrastructure that helps you thrive on the road. To take the next step, apply now and begin a journey that blends clinical mastery with the opportunity to explore Pennsylvania’s charm and beyond. Please note: hours and pay rates listed are estimates and may vary. Final compensation packages and guaranteed hours will be confirmed during the hiring process. Your start date is 03/16/2026, with a guaranteed 40.0 hours each week and a contract duration that will be defined at onboarding. Embrace this chance to grow, travel, and make a lasting difference in patients’ lives.
