Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers an opportunity for a skilled Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students with diverse speech and communication needs in a structured school environment. The role involves working onsite for the full school year, providing essential assistance to students exhibiting moderate to severe behaviors, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), and various speech challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement speech-language intervention plans under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Support students with moderate to severe behavioral challenges and ASD in achieving communication goals
• Monitor and document student progress regularly
• Collaborate with educators and related service providers to enhance student outcomes
• Maintain compliance with all applicable educational and clinical protocols

Qualifications:

• Current SLPA certification approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education Board
• Experience with students presenting moderate to severe behaviors and speech needs preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Location and Work Schedule:

• Position is based onsite in Carlisle, PA
• 35 hours per week during the school year
• Contract assignment for the duration of the NSY
