Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated janitorial worker to maintain cleanliness and organization in our facility. This role involves various cleaning tasks and the use of equipment to ensure a safe and tidy environment.

Responsibilities

• Sweep floors to remove dirt and debris in all work areas.
• Separate and sort dirt and debris, placing them onto a shovel and dumping them into a wheelbarrow.
• Push wheelbarrow up ramps or at floor level to empty contents into trash hoppers.
• Operate a forklift to dump trash hoppers into the appropriate dumpsters.
• Cut large cardboard gaylords using a utility knife, hand saw, or power saw, and dispose of the cardboard in dumpsters.

Essential Skills

• 1+ years of janitorial work experience.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, including forklifts, hand saws, and power saws.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience operating a forklift is a plus.
• Experience using hand saws and power saws is a plus.

Work Environment

The facility is industrial, experiencing hot temperatures in the summer and cold in the winter, but it is well ventilated and maintained clean for a weld/assembly shop. The work schedule is flexible, with shifts from 6am-2:30pm or 7am-3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Limerick, PA.

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
