Packaging Sales Representative – Philadelphia Based

Due to continued growth, one of the industry’s most respected distributors of customized packaging solutions is seeking a highly motivated, experienced Philadelphia-based Packaging Sales Representative with a proven track record of cultivating new opportunities and developing long-term customer relationships.

They provide end-to-end packaging, labeling, and automation solutions to a wide range of industries and are known for an outstanding culture - employees simply don’t leave.

This is a privately-held company with a family-oriented culture. The position offers a high compensation and commissions potential , with a unique opportunity to build a new territory in the greater Philadelphia region you can call your own .

One of your primary responsibilities in this role is selling and promoting the company’s automated stretch wrap systems:

• Turntable stretch wrapping machines and rotary ring stretch wrappers
• Conveyorized and integrated stretch wrap systems
• Semi-automatic wrapping equipment
• Film dispensing systems and carriage upgrades
• Stretch film (hand and machine-grade) as a consumable
• Promote additional product offerings include packaging tape, corrugated containers, corner board, protective packaging supplies, and packaging equipment.

Requirements

• Proven and measurable sales success with a minimum of 5 years of sales experience in a related field
• Strong local market knowledge and established contacts —especially in industries, companies, and organizations which may already be using stretch wrap automation or potential clients in that market
• Ability to create and maintain a sales territory from the ground up
• Sales-process oriented with an ability to describe your sales process
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applications
• Highly motivated, self-directed professional who operates effectively with minimal supervision
• Valid driver’s license and proof of automobile insurance
• Strong desire to earn above-average income in a commission-driven environment where compensation exceeds typical industry benchmarks
