About the role
As a CBRE Energy Engineer, you will assist in supporting the implementation of energy initiatives for a small to medium-sized site, region, or account.
This role supports the Energy and Sustainability function. They are responsible for the development and implementation of environmental and social sustainability programs.
This is an onsite role in King of Prussia with one day a week work from home.
What you'll do

Identify cost savings opportunities and budgets for utilities. Assist with the coordination of energy procurement and energy-related projects on behalf of client accounts.

Prepare monthly variance and energy service status reports. Monitor and report on energy use, bill gap reviews, and spending trends.

Provide basic energy and sustainability-related guidance to preventative maintenance and engineering procedures.

Enter workorders for the operations team to address identified issues.

Help with the development of site energy profiles, site surveys, and energy plans. Gather and prioritize all support documentation as directed.

Under supervision participate in site inspections, surveys, and reporting.

Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.

Work within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and deadlines.

Exchange straightforward information, ask questions, and check for understanding.
What you'll need

Bachelor's Degree preferred with up to 3 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Ability to use existing procedures to solve standard problems.

Experience with analyzing information and standard practices to make judgments.

In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Organizational skills with a strong inquisitive mentality.

Mechanical proficiency with HVAC systems and willingness to learn the Building Automation System operation

Intermediate math skills. Ability to calculate difficult figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.
