Doylestown, PA | Full-Time | Residential Construction
$30-$40/Hour (Based on Experience)

Lakeside Custom Homes & Renovations is seeking a Working Site Superintendent who enjoys leading from the front. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who takes pride in quality craftsmanship while coordinating crews, subcontractors, and daily field operations.

You'll work closely with Project Managers, homeowners, and trade partners to keep projects moving safely, efficiently, and to the high standards our clients expect.

Field Leadership

• Lead daily operations on residential construction projects
• Supervise carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors
• Plan daily work and coordinate project sequencing
• Mentor team members and foster a positive job site culture
• Lead by example through professionalism and accountability

Construction & Project Execution

• Perform rough and finish carpentry as needed
• Read and interpret blueprints and construction documents
• Coordinate subcontractor schedules and project activities
• Identify field issues early and collaborate on solutions
• Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are ready for scheduled work

Client Experience & Safety

• Communicate professionally with homeowners
• Maintain organized, safe, and clean job sites
• Ensure work meets Lakeside's quality standards
• Track daily progress, employee time, and project documentation

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of residential construction experience
• Experience as a Superintendent, Lead Carpenter, Foreman, or similar field leadership role
• Strong rough and finish carpentry skills
• Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Preferred

• Experience with custom homes, additions, or residential renovations
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and multiple project phases
• Passion for mentoring field teams

This role requires standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders, lifting up to 80 pounds, moving heavier materials with proper equipment, operating construction tools, and working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

• $35-$45 per hour based on experience
