We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This full‐time overnight position offers a competitive salary, comprehensive benefits, and a supportive work environment , with a strong focus on delivering high‐quality, patient‐centered end‐of‐life care .
Position Overview
The Hospice RN works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary care team to develop and manage individualized hospice care plans , ensuring patient comfort, dignity, and quality of life. This role requires strong clinical judgment, excellent time‐management skills, and the ability to work independently in the field.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient‐centered care plans
- Provide compassionate hospice nursing care within the assigned service area
- Ensure comfort, symptom management, and emotional support for patients and families
- Complete accurate and timely documentation to meet regulatory and organizational deadlines
- Independently manage schedule and workload during overnight shifts
- Utilize tablets, mobile devices, and EMR systems for documentation and communication
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Prior nursing experience required; hospice or home health experience preferred
- Proficiency with EMR systems and mobile technology
- Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills
- Ability to work independently in the field
Schedule & Shift Details
- Full‐time overnight schedule
- Monday – Thursday | 5:00 PM – 8:00 AM
