Director leader
What success looks like in this role:
• Directs, monitors and evaluates the activities of subordinate leaders, teams and third-party service providers. • Ensures the tight integration and coordination of all aspects of Cyber Risk & Compliance and Cybersecurity – from both process and technical perspectives. • Remains up to date with changing government / regulatory considerations, including their impact on technology development, marketing, privacy and related matters. • Engages with IT, Engineering/Product Development, Legal and other leaders to ensure security considerations underpin decisions about new technology, systems, network and related programs / projects and company product / solution development. • Plays a key role in defining, drafting, validating and implementing corporate Cybersecurity policies and standards. • Ensures systems are in place to manage daily and ongoing activities of threat and vulnerability management and incident response. • Establishes and oversees repeatable processes and procedures for gathering, assessing and reporting on current and future threats and vulnerabilities. • Oversees all aspects of incident, threat or vulnerability investigation, forensic analysis, reporting and, when necessary, litigation and/or prosecution through legal means. • Develops, executes and monitors Cybersecurity metrics, identifying patterns, trends and areas of concern and ensures widespread understanding and focus. • Designs and implements strategies and security initiatives to assess and improve virtual, physical, technical and process safeguards and controls. • Guarantees security reviews and processes are incorporated into existing and proposed products, platforms, applications and systems.You will be successful in this role if you have:
BA/BS degree and 8-10 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience Graduate degree preferred 4-6 years’ leadership experienceThis role may require access to export-controlled commodities and technology. Therefore, to conform to U.S. export control regulations, applicant should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.
