Job Description
Join a Dynamic Team: Improving the rejected material process at BAE Systems
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Planner and Coordinator to manage the movement of non-conforming material within our organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and coordinating the efficient movement of material from production, while ensuring compliance with procedures and documentation requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and coordinate material movement with purchasing, quality, and production teams
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless material flow and minimize production delays
Track the timing of processing the material to the closure of the non-conformance record
Work with the quality engineers on the team to improve the process efficiency

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
Typically a Bachelors and 4 years of experience. Work experience considered in lieu of formal education.
Experience in a manufacturing, buying or procurement background.
Understanding of computer systems and inventory control programs.
Must have good communication skills and ability to build trust with individuals from other departments.
Must be able to work on a team both within a funtion and cross-functionally.

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Knowledge of Oracle planning and management software, primarily inventory management software.
Certifications are a plus and a willingness to continue training on materials planning as well as continuous improvement

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $75254 - $127930

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
