We are hiring Men (to support men) and Women (to support both men and women)

Training ( STIPEND is provided)

Current Pay Rate is $16 /hr. (Pay differential for B.H.A.)

PTO (Sick) and Vacation time provided.

Retirement savings plan available.

Staff of the quarter achievement awards and Annual company picnics

Responsibilities:

Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) provide support services to Individuals with Autism and Intellectual Developmental Disabilities.

DSPs will assist Individuals throughout their day. This includes personal care (ADLs), cooking, light cleaning, and daily activities both at home and in the community.

• Assist and engage Individuals with daily living activities
• Community outings (including but not limited to: medical appointments, religious services, walks, parks, gym, etc.)
• Communicate ongoing care results and updates to relevant parties
• Collaborate with Individuals and families for the best care opportunities
• Maintain a healthy, comfortable, and safe living environment
• Assist with medication administration
• Keep composure in challenging situations

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma /GED
• Valid Driver's License A PLUS
• Experience in personal care or other related field is A PLUS
• Compassionate and caring demeanor
• Able to follow basic policy and procedures
• Able to work collectively in a team environment
• Able to build rapport with individuals and co-workers
• Good written and verbal skills
• Communicate effectively in a team environment
• Punctuality and dependability are A MUST
