Quarryville Presbyterian Retirement Community currently has a wonderful opportunity to join our incredible Facility Services Team ! This is a Full-Time position with excellent benefits. Previous experience is preferred, but not required.

We are seeking an individual who is friendly, compassionate, and self-motivated. Someone who has a passion for cleanliness and takes pride in a job well done. Schedule: Tuesday-Saturday, 7:00am-3:30pm, weekend/holiday rotation required

Responsibilities (including, but not limited to) :

• Perform general laundry duties, such as: sorting, washing, drying folding and hanging resident laundry and other linen
• Stack carts safely and deliver resident clothing and facility linen, as directed
• Keeps laundry area and delivery carts, clean, sanitized and in good working order
• Use proper safety measures at all times
• Willingness to accept additional job responsibilities and schedule changes as they arise

Requirements:

• Able to work respectfully and effectively with residents, guests, and team members
• Demonstrates independent problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Works well independently and as a member of a team
• Previous Laundry experience a plus but not a must-we will provide training!
