Job Overview

• Developing, implementing, managing, and validating statistical-based custom analytics for pharmaceutical client engagements to help answer complex business questions.

Essential Functions

• Develop and implement HTA compliant statistical analysis, SAP, shareable codes, and directly usable output
• Strong written and oral communication with the ability to explain methods, options, and rationale to clients; lead discussions with client's statistician
• Collaborating closely with project managers to create timelines for the project and to ensure that project results and conclusions are presented accurately and without bias.
• Understanding the contracted scope of work, proactively identifying potential out-of-scope activities and bringing to the attention of the project leader.
• Working with consulting principals and sales team on business development effort by providing ad-hoc feasibility reports, providing estimations of effort and developing methodologies that address client needs.
• Managing the development work for urgent and/or complex projects requiring programming and statistical models in SAS, R or other software packages.
• Contributing to the development innovative methodologies and new offerings. Creating and refining best practices and approaches.
• Mentoring junior team members. Potential for direct people management based on desire and prior experience.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Statistics/Biostatistics, Mathematics, Bioinformatics, or a related field with 4+ years of academia or industry experience; or a Master's degree in these areas with 8 years' experience
• Demonstrated organizational skills necessary to manage a project from concept to completion.
• Ability to work under strict deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Innovative thinking in conceptualizing products and services, with knowledge of Bayesian statistics, along with a commitment to independent personal development with new methods in new database sources.
• Experience in the pharmaceutical, healthcare, or consulting space is a must.

Développer, mettre en œuvre, gérer et valider des analyses statistiques personnalisées pour les clients du secteur pharmaceutique afin de répondre à des questions commerciales complexes.

Fonctions essentielles

• Développer et mettre en œuvre des analyses statistiques conformes aux normes HTA, SAP, des codes partageables et des résultats directement exploitables.
• Excellentes compétences en communication écrite et orale, avec aptitude à expliquer les méthodes, les options et les justifications aux clients ; mener des discussions avec le statisticien du client.
• Collaborer étroitement avec les chefs de projet pour établir les échéanciers du projet et garantir une présentation précise et impartiale des résultats et conclusions.
• Comprendre le périmètre des travaux contractuels, identifier proactivement les activités potentiellement hors périmètre et les signaler au chef de projet.
• Collaborer avec les directeurs de conseil et l'équipe commerciale sur le développement commercial en fournissant des rapports de faisabilité ad hoc, des estimations des efforts et en développant des méthodologies répondant aux besoins des clients.
• Gérer le développement de projets urgents et/ou complexes nécessitant de la programmation et des modèles statistiques en SAS, R ou autres logiciels.
• Contribuer au développement de méthodologies innovantes et de nouvelles offres. Créer et affiner les meilleures pratiques et approches.
• Encadrer les membres juniors de l'équipe. Possibilité de gestion directe du personnel selon les envies et l'expérience.

Qualifications

• Doctorat en statistique/biostatistique, mathématiques, bio-informatique ou dans un domaine connexe, avec au moins 4 ans d'expérience universitaire ou industrielle ; ou master dans ces domaines avec 8 ans d'expérience.
• Compétences organisationnelles avérées nécessaires pour gérer un projet de la conception à la réalisation.
• Capacité à travailler dans des délais stricts et à gérer plusieurs tâches simultanément.
• Esprit d'innovation dans la conceptualisation de produits et services, connaissance des statistiques bayésiennes et engagement envers le développement personnel autonome grâce à de nouvelles méthodes et à de nouvelles sources de données.
• Une expérience dans le secteur pharmaceutique, de la santé ou du conseil est indispensable.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $87,700.00 - $146,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
