Play Associate at Children's Play Space
Join a fun and rewarding environment. We are a boutique indoor educational and play space for kids and their caretakers. We are seeking a self-motivated person with strong customer service and a team-player attitude. This position will be responsible for delivering a great guest experience for open play, hosting birthday parties, and executing events.
- We're looking for both week and weekend availability.
- Shifts generally no more than 4 hours
$11 - $14 hourly based on experience
Responsibilities:- Must be able to do physical work, cleaning up toys, and setting up party themes
- Greet customers upon arrival and check them in
- Ensure guest needs are met while in the space
- Monitor children playing to be sure safety signs are being followed
- Cleaning (light and some deep cleaning - tidying toys, cleaning toys, completing closing checklist)
- Host birthday parties
- Willingness and ability to engage with guests (parents and children) who are in our space
- Assist with inventory management
- Assist with party execution
- Must be at least 17 years old
- Customer service experience
- Proficient in the computer
- Experience with Canva
- Is a team player
- Enjoys working with the public
- Excellent communication and social skills
- Self-motivated with w/the ability to multi-task
- Clearances or willingness to obtain clearances
Where the Wild Things Play is an indoor play space for children and their caregivers! We are a boutique space that offers imaginative, active play, and educational programs for children eight and under. We have created this space with children AND caregivers in mind, and want caregivers to feel like our space is a welcome getaway and one that they look forward to. We offer open play, birthday parties, weekly educational programs, summer camps, and special events. We are constantly seeking new ways to bring the community together, build new relationships within our community, and better serve our guests!
