Training Specialist Sr
Job Responsibilities:
- Deliver hands-on safety, compliance, and refresher training for underground (UG) electric distribution crews
- Conduct OSHA compliance training, including work area protection, shoring, trenching, and rigging
- Physically demonstrate safe jobsite setup, tools, and field procedures
- Coach and mentor linemen and mechanics on technical and safety practices
- Ensure adherence to EFPT and company safety policies
- Collaborate with Training Supervisors and Electric Operations leadership
- Evaluate field practices and correct unsafe behaviors
- Support annual compliance and recertification programs
Skills:
- Distribution Lineman qualification (Aerial or Underground) — required
- Journeyman Lineman or Splicer certification
- Underground electric distribution systems
- OSHA safety regulations and compliance training
- EFPT (Electrical Field Practices Training)
- Jobsite setup and work area protection
- Rigging and lifting practices
- Shoring and trenching safety
- Field safety demonstrations and hands-on training
- Utility industry standards and procedures
Education/Experience:
- High School
