As a Front-End Developer , you’ll maintain and create page templates and custom theme-based websites. You’ll be an important member of the Creative Services team, working to ensure the efficient and effective execution of development projects for clients in many different industries.
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities
- Build page templates and custom theme-based websites.
- Troubleshoot website themes/plugins.
- Construct websites by hand-coding, clean, organized, and structured HTML, SCSS, JavaScript and PHP in current versions.
- Debug cross-browser and/or cross-device issues.
- Deploy websites from one environment to another.
- Complete regular maintenance on existing client websites.
- Build HTML email messages in various customer relationship managers (CRMs).
- Build landing pages in various CRMs, Unbounce or other equivalent software.
- Work with Adobe XD files provided by the design team.
- Implement on-page SEO according to best practices.
Who You Are
You will have at least 1 year of experience directly executing front-end web development work. This experience will include the following:
- Coding Languages: HTML, SCSS, PHP, JavaScript, Bootstrap
- Content Management Systems (CMS): WordPress, HubSpot, Shopify
- Customer Relationship Managers (CRMs): HubSpot, Pardot, Marketo
- Code Management: Experience with Git code management (Bitbucket), code management
- SEO: Basic knowledge of SEO on-page concepts and elements.
- Computer Programs/Systems: Outstanding computer skills and strong familiarity with the internet.
Additionally, you have the following:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Outstanding computer skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong organizational skills, the ability to multitask, detail oriented and work independently
- Comfortable with ambiguity - flexible & adaptable with a willingness to learn and ‘roll up your sleeves’ wherever needed
