• Approx. Caseload - 15
• 2 Periods of Resource ELA/Math
• 2 Periods of Intervention Groups

8th-Grade Learning Support

• Approx. Caseload - 15
• Mix of Push-In/Pull Out
• 2 Periods of Intervention Groups
• Working hours- 7:30 am- 3:45 pm
• Number of working hours per week: 35-40

Requirements for job:

• Active License for special education teacher in PA.
• Bachelor's degree is required, with preferred classroom experience.
• 1+ year of experience working as a special education teacher.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: In this role, your main responsibilities will include

• Planning curriculum, lessons, and special education programs using effective teaching methods.
• Maintaining regular contact with parents and involving them in their child's educational progress.
• Ensuring the classroom environment is well-organized and conducive to learning.
• Instructing individuals and groups in various special education skill areas.
• Modifying curriculum according to individualized education plans (IEPs) and conducting testing evaluations.
