Landscape Account Manager

Position Overview

Gerhart’s Landscaping is seeking a highly organized and client-focused Account Manager to oversee a portfolio of landscape maintenance clients while identifying opportunities to enhance their properties.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, walking properties, and driving additional work — while collaborating closely with operations to ensure high-quality execution.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Management

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients
• Conduct regular site visits to ensure quality and identify issues
• Communicate proactively with clients regarding service updates, concerns, and recommendations
• Build long-term relationships and ensure high client retention

Property Oversight

• Perform routine property inspections for maintenance quality
• Identify deficiencies and coordinate with production/operations teams for resolution
• Ensure properties meet Gerhart’s quality standards

Enhancement Sales

• Identify and propose landscape improvements (mulch, plantings, pruning, seasonal color, etc.)
• Prepare and present proposals using Aspire
• Follow up on proposals and close opportunities
• Maintain and grow enhancement revenue within your portfolio

Internal Coordination

• Communicate clearly with Production/Operations regarding client needs and job details
• Assist in job planning when enhancements are sold
• Ensure smooth handoff from sales to production

Qualifications

• 2+ years in landscaping, account management, or related field preferred
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Basic plant knowledge (or willingness to learn)
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Experience with Aspire (or similar CRM) is a plus
• Valid driver’s license

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Salary: $75,000 – $85,000 (based on experience)
• $5,000 sign on bonus
• Commission/bonus on enhancement sales
