As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol in Mount Lebanon, PA on Washington Road, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic retail location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help discourage incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong customer service and communication. In this unarmed role, you will handle routine patrols and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and perimeter points, as assigned.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, and/or maintenance issues that could impact daily operations, helping to deter unwanted behavior through visible presence and professional interaction.
• Support opening and closing activities, assist with crowd and queue observation during busy periods, and provide directions and general assistance to visitors as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
