Our teams work collaboratively to ensure manufacturing excellence, production readiness, and continuous improvement across programs.\n\nWe are looking for you to join our team as an RF Test Engineer to support production and manufacturing operations at our Central Virginia manufacturing facilities.\n\nWhat You\u0027ll Get To Do:\n\n * Integrate new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility\n\n * Test software and test equipment integration related to RF sensors\n\n * Execute test and troubleshoot RF issues during test\n\n * Support technicians with troubleshooting\n\n * Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements\n\n * Maintain sensitivity to cost, schedule and quality as well as Northrop Grumman policies and procedures \n\n\n\n\n#MPR\n\nBasic Qualifications for a Test Engineer:\n\n * Bachelor of Science degree plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in test or electronics; or a Master of Science degree. Candidates with a High School diploma and a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience in test or electronics or an Associates degree and a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in test or electronics will also be considered.\n\n * Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.\n\n * Professional software control and use experience using languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, etc. \n\n * Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance\n\n * U.S. citizenship is required.\n\n\n\n\nPreferred Qualifications:\n\n * Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering or related STEM discipline\n\n * Software development experience with RF and antenna systems \n\n * Test development experience in a nearfield antenna range \n\n * RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience \n\n * Familiarity with RF and antenna theory \n\n\n\n\nWhat We Can Offer You:\n\nNorthrop Grumman provides a comprehensive benefits package and a work environment that encourages your growth and supports the mutual success of our people and our company. Additional benefits, including Education Assistance, Training and Development and a 9/80 schedule at many sites.\n\nPrimary Level Salary Range: $72,100.00 - $108,100.00\n\nThe above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate\u0027s experience, education, skills and current market conditions.\n\nDepending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.\n\nThe application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
