York Suburban is looking to hire a one-year long-term substitute teacher for the 2026-2027 school year.

TITLE: Elementary Learning Support Teacher/ Special Education Teacher

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree in special education or related field, experience working with students with disabilities, understanding of special education regulations and best practices, patience and empathy for supporting the well-being of the student and commitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for all students.

CERTIFICATION: Must hold a valid Pennsylvania Special Education Certification (PK-12)

REPORTS TO: Building Principal

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: Ten (10) month position, annual salary, work schedule and other conditions of employment in accordance with the York Suburban Education Association negotiated agreement. This is a one-year long-term substitute position, therefore, placement on the salary scale is Bachelor's step 1.
