Church Administrative Assistant
Zelienople Harmony Lutheran Ministries is hiring a part time Administrative Assistant Church Administrative Assistant for Zelienople Harmony Lutheran Ministries.
Part Time: 18 hours per week
Office Locations: St. Paul Lutheran Church (215 N. Main St., Zelienople, PA)
and Zion Lutheran Church (557 Perry Hwy., Harmony, PA)
We are seeking applicants for an Administrative Assistant position that will serve
both church offices, and help to coordinate our combined ministry. Applicants
should have good organizational skills, writing skills, computer skills, and
people skills. QuickBooks, Excel, and Google Docs are regularly used at the
offices. The Administrative Assistant regularly interacts with both members of the congregations and the general public and should have an attitude of hospitality and welcome.
Day to day office duties include but are not limited to:
- creating bulletins, newsletters, and promotional flyers for church events
- record keeping and maintaining church members information
- coordinating and publicizing a monthly calendar
- assisting the pastor and elected council in clerical duties
- financial recording and reporting
We are pleased to be able to offer some flexibility in a work schedule, to include 9 hours a week per congregation. Bi-weekly pay is salaried, and starts at the
equivalent of $18.50 per hour, based on experience and education.
