Compensation Range: $50.00/hr – $65.00/hr

Job Description:
Design, develop, modify, and evaluate programs for internal functional areas including finance, HR, and marketing, ensuring high performance, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise standards.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing programs or design logic for new systems

• Prepare flowcharts, perform coding, test/debug programs, and implement changes

• Develop conversion and implementation plans and obtain required approvals

• Document systems and recommend development/maintenance standards

• Provide user training during conversion and implementation phases

• Support mission-critical enterprise systems and resolve technical issues

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in Agile ceremonies

Requirements:

• Must-Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • Minimum 5 years in a technical or analytical role, including 4 years programming experience

  • Proven ability to manage small to medium-sized projects independently

  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills

  • Experience in Agile methodology and product/platform-based models

  • Technical expertise in:

    • Programming & Systems: Mainframe, TSO, COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, Endevor, MVS

    • Methodologies: Agile, JIRA, SDLC

    • Tools & Platforms: WebSphere MQ, System Monitoring Tools, MS Office

    • Core Skills: Application Systems Management, Technical Support (ServiceNow), Innovation

• Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience in the retail or grocery sector

  • Business analysis capabilities and product ownership experience

  • Knowledge of system integration and modernization initiatives
