Coordinator of Faith Formation Sacramental Prep and CGS
Coordinator of Faith Formation Sacramental Preparation and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Regina Coeli Parish is seeking a qualified, enthusiastic candidate for the full-time or part-time position of Coordinator of Faith Formation: Sacramental Preparation and Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. Education/Experience Practicing Catholic, committed to the teachings and mission of the Church; Bachelor's degree in theology, Catechetics, Religious Education or related field; Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Formation preferred; Experience with children's catechesis and sacramental preparation. Knowledge/Skills: Good interpersonal skills; Person of Prayer with the ability to lead groups in prayer; Knowledge of stages of human and faith development; Capacity to relate to a wide variety of people, a spirit of generosity, and the ability to collaborate. Responsibilities Promotes Gospel values and growth in holiness, values collaboration and mutuality in mission and ministry; Coordinates with Clergy and staff on Sacramental Preparation and Mystagogy for Baptism, First Reconciliation, First Holy Communion and the Liturgical celebrations of the sacraments; Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Formation in Levels T, I, II and III or willingness to participate in Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Formation in Levels T, I, II and III; Serves as lead catechist for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Faith Formation sessions; Supervises volunteer Catechists and Assistants and provides staff presence for Catechesis of the Good Shepherd sessions.
