School Social Worker - PRN
We provide therapy as well as psychiatric and medication management services to children, adults, and families. School-Based Mental Health Services are provided to students in several school districts in Allegheny and Washington counties.
We are looking for confident professionals to provide quality individual therapeutic support and counseling to students as identified by the school district via the IEP process. The location of services will take place in the identified public school(s). This position works closely with school district personnel including teachers, school counselors and special education coordinators.

- Detail oriented with a strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks

Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess students’ behavioral health needs and develop and implement a specific plan of services
- Active involvement in the treatment of students (attends supervision, IEP, and SAP meetings)
- Provide consistent and quality individual therapy as needed
- Provide crisis support during school hours
- Facilitate the development and implementation of a wellness, crisis and/or relapse prevention plan
- Consult with school personnel related to student behavior
Requirements
- Graduate degree in a generally recognized clinical discipline and the degree program includes clinical practice
- LSW required
- Experience diagnosing and providing therapy preferred
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and auto insurance
