Pool Service Technician

Great Valley Pool Service has an immediate opening for an experienced Pool Service Technician. We are looking for a candidate that possesses the necessary skills and seeks to become part of the Great Valley Pool Service Team. This position offers the potential to transition into our holiday décor business at the end of the pool season. Pay determined based on years of experience.

Essential Responsibilities:

· Open and close pools & perform weekly pool maintenance

· Perform field trouble shooting of swimming pool equipment

· Perform a variety of highly skilled equipment repairs and installations relating to pool heaters, filters, pumps, motors, cleaning systems, automatic controls and electrical systems

· Perform accurate van inventories and a daily maintenance check of vehicle (check oil and fluid levels)

· Complete standard documentation of processes accurately and on time using a mobile tablet

· Maintain an acceptable personal appearance and strong customer focus

· Complete all other duties assigned by the supervisor

Qualifications :

· Experience in Pool maintenance, pool openings/closings, and troubleshooting with motors, pumps, heaters, electronic controls and salt chlorination systems

· A valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation to work

· Flexibility to work overtime when necessary

· Competencies include: teamwork, communication, and time management

Physical Demands :

· Must be able to frequently lift objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

· Must be able to frequently push or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

· Requires the physical ability to use hands, arms, feet, and legs for repetitive movements, bending, squatting, and reaching

· Requires the physical ability to function in exposure to marked changes in temperature and humidity and exposure to chemicals

· Requires driving a vehicle
