REQUIRED:
Associates degree from an accredited college with an early childhood education major or related field required; or any equivalent combination of experience and education that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
2 years classroom experience
Experience working with low-income families desired.
Prior to hiring, able to meet State ECE hiring requirements, including clear background checks, Bi-Annual physical examination, and negative TB test
College transcripts must be provided at the time of application or prior to job offer to ensure compliance with Head Start Performance Standards. PREFERRED:
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college in early childhood education or equivalent coursework. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Must have the demonstrated ability to direct the activities of others; provide training and communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.
