Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Professional Substitute Nursing Roles Available for the 2025-2026 School Year in Pottstown, PA
Seeking experienced and certified nurses to provide essential health services within a K-12 educational environment on a per diem basis. These substitute school nurse positions support student health and well-being, ensuring a safe and healthy learning atmosphere throughout the academic year.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver health services and conduct examinations for students
- Maintain accurate and confidential pupil health records
- Report health information as required to school administration
- Promote overall wellness and support each student's ability to achieve academic success
- Respond promptly and effectively to health emergencies or concerns during school hours
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possess current Pennsylvania School Nurse Certification (CSN) or valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Ability to obtain required Pennsylvania background clearances
- Previous experience working as a school nurse strongly preferred
- Strong munication and organizational skills to interact with students, staff, and families
