- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing accounts through regular communication, video meetings, and in-person visits for buying appointments, merchandising, trunk shows, and training.
- Drive growth within existing accounts by securing seasonal buy-ins, reorders, and biweekly selling reports; identify upselling opportunities; and educate partners on new collections, best sellers, restocking, and merchandising strategies.
- Partner closely with the Vice President of Wholesale to refine territory strategy, optimize travel schedules, and consistently exceed sales objectives.
- Identify, prospect, and open new accounts that align with brand positioning and revenue goals.
Field Travel & Brand Representation
- Plan and execute weekly travel for retail partner visits, merchandising support, and prospecting in underdeveloped markets.
- Represent Julie Vos at national trade shows, including scheduling and managing appointments in advance, hosting sales meetings, and strengthening retailer relationships.
- Ensure strong in-store visibility by coaching retailers on best merchandising and display practices.
- Maintain accurate reporting of sales activity, pipeline development, and customer feedback.
Who You Are
- Ideally, 4+ years sales experience in wholesale account management, specifically within accessories or jewelry for specialty retailers.
- Proven track record of consistently meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Demonstrated success in prospecting, onboarding, and growing accounts.
- Established network of retailer relationships within the Northeast territory.
- Strong communication, negotiation, selling, and merchandising skills.
- Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Outlook, Pepperi, Shopify, and CRM systems.
Location & Travel
- This is a remote role based within the Northeast region, covering Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Vermont, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington DC, Delaware, Virginia and West Virginia.
- Requires frequent travel (up to 50%) to retail partner stores, trade shows, and sales events.
