As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, you will treat a wide variety of mental health conditions that reflect the needs of our diverse patient population. Providers begin with an on-site schedule to support initial patient engagement and caseload development. Once a stable caseload is established, there is flexibility to transition into a hybrid model that includes both in-person and remote care delivery. Required Qualifications: Must have a clear, active and unrestricted PMHNP license in the state of Pennsylvania or ability to attain one Board certified as a PMHNP-BC by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) Active DEA (Drug Enforcement Administration) registration 3 years of licensed clinical experience as a PMHNP in an outpatient setting Preferred Qualifications: 5 years of licensed clinical experience in psychiatric/mental health nursing in an outpatient setting Experience providing patient education, specifically regarding medication treatment adherence and aftercare services Experience counseling patients using advanced psychotherapeutic techniques, including in group settings Experience working with patients in different age groups, including children to geriatrics Experience working with computers for professional communication and medical documentation - Excel, Outlook, Athena RMS (or other EHRs) Explore opportunities at Optum Behavioral Care. Growing together. Compensation for this specialty generally ranges from $104,500 to $156,000. Total cash compensation includes base pay and bonus and is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience and may increase over time based on productivity and performance in the role.
