A Plus Landscaping is a family-owned landscaping company specializing in designing and building custom outdoor living spaces through expert hardscaping and landscape construction. From patios and fire pits to full backyard transformations, our team takes pride in delivering high-quality results that bring people together outdoors. What You'll Do as a Hardscaping Crew Member:
- Install patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor living features using pavers, stone, and concrete
- Prepare job sites by excavating, grading, leveling, and building proper base foundations
- Read and follow project layouts, measurements, and design plans to ensure accurate installation
- Operate tools and equipment such as plate compactors, saws, and measuring instruments
- Cut, place, and secure materials to ensure long-lasting, high-quality finished products
- Assist with drainage solutions to ensure proper water runoff and prevent shifting or erosion
- Travel to job sites within a 2-hour radius, typically working on one project at a time from start to finish
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site throughout each phase of construction
- Work closely with crew members and follow directions from the foreman to complete projects efficiently
Our Ideal Hardscaping Crew Member:
- Experienced in Construction or Masonry: Has hands-on experience working with materials, tools, and equipment used in hardscaping or similar trades
- CDL-Ready: Willingness to obtain a CDL B license to support driving and equipment needs
- Pride in Craftsmanship: Takes ownership of their work and is committed to producing high-quality, lasting results
- Mechanically Inclined: Comfortable using tools and learning equipment related to outdoor construction
- Reliable & Accountable: Shows up consistently, follows through, and can be counted on by the team
- Values-Driven Team Player: Aligns with a faith-based culture centered on teamwork, strong character, and excellence
- Physically Capable: Able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stand, and work outdoors in varying conditions
What We Offer Our Hardscaping Crew Member:
- $23-$30/hour based on experience
- $1,000 sign-on bonus after 90 days
- Full-time, year-round work with winter snow removal
- 45-52 hours per week with consistent scheduling
