**What You'll Do:**
+ Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies at the location.
+ Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
+ Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unwanted activity.
+ Assist with access control and monitor entry points to help to maintain a secure environment for students, staff, and visitors.
+ Communicate clearly and professionally with campus personnel and members of the public as required.
+ Document activities, observations, and incidents thoroughly in daily reports or logs for Allied Universal and site management review.
+ Participate in emergency response activities as directed by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Being at least 21 years of age is required.
+ The ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
+ The ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred.
+ Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
