About Recipe Philly
Recipe Philly is a first-of-its-kind restaurant concept: a full-service dining experience based on the principles of Heirloom Hospitality. Our menu is built from real family recipes, surfaced through a citywide competition and accompanying TV series. The food here means something. So does the team behind it. We’re looking for a passionate and reliable Prep Cook to join our kitchen team.
What you'll do
- Execute daily prep lists accurately and efficiently
- Break down and portion proteins, fabricate vegetables, and prepare stocks, sauces, and mise en place
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards
- Support the line during service as needed
- Likes to work in a team and professional work ethic
- Food Safety Knowledge
What we're looking for
- Some kitchen experience preferred but not required
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to take direction
- Comfortable on your feet for long shifts
- Availability for daytime hours; weekend availability a plus
