Partner Development Specialist Northeast

Overview

Eaton’s North American Sales division is seeking a Partner Development Specialist Northeast. This remote role is located in Philadelphia, PA or New Jersey and requires 25% travel.

Responsibilities

• Sell assigned product lines to targeted customers in targeted market areas; achieve the assigned sales goal under limited supervision.
• Coordinate sales for the assigned customer and distributor base; manage all aspects of the customer relationship, providing sales and technical assistance with distributors, customers, end users, and specifiers.
• Accurate and timely planning and specification interpretation, quotation, and technical support.
• Communicate with customers, warehouse, and plants to facilitate problem resolution.
• Travel within the territory to conduct customer technical and application training.
• Provide sales and partner enablement support to smaller and mid-sized revenue producing partners in the region.
• Collect, analyze, and utilize market intelligence regarding competitive products, customer needs, preferences, and buying habits.
• Plan promotional events and presentations with distributor personnel to promote Eaton’s position and achieve sales goals.
• Prepare and present bids and quotations using company guidelines and sound business judgment.

Qualifications

• Required (Basic) Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 1 year of experience within the electrical or IT industry and/or sales
  • Valid and unrestricted driver’s license
  • Eaton will not sponsor immigration; not eligible for CPT/OPT/STEM OPT or equivalent
  • No relocation benefit; candidates must reside within 50 miles of Philadelphia, PA, or in New Jersey (Active-Duty Military are exempt)
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Previous experience within IT channel sales
  • Experience with Salesforce

The compensation range for this full-time position includes base pay and target sales performance incentive, with a target total compensation range of $94,013-$137,885. Base salaries are based on candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
