Auto Body Technician

Job Title: Experienced Body Technician – Collision Repair

Location: Mount Joy, PA

Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Body Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of professional collision repair experience , be I-CAR certified (or willing to obtain certification), and possess strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Perform high-quality collision repairs, including structural and body work; refinishing experience a plus.
• Accurately diagnose vehicle damage and work with the shop manager to create supplemental repair plans.
• Use frame machines, welding equipment, and other collision repair tools.
• Follow OEM repair procedures and safety standards.
• Work efficiently to meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality.
• Collaborate with estimators, painters, and other technicians.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of collision repair experience (frame, structural, and body work).
• I-CAR certification preferred (will consider candidates with equivalent training/experience).
• Strong welding and panel replacement skills.
• Knowledge of OEM procedures and industry safety standards.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
