Location: Asylum Fitness – 2920 Easton Ave, Bethlehem, PA 18017
Reports To: General Manager

Position Overview

The Front Desk Associate serves as the first point of contact for members and guests at Asylum Fitness. This role is responsible for creating a welcoming environment, providing excellent customer service, and supporting the daily operations of the gym.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet members and guests promptly and courteously upon arrival.

• Check members in and verify memberships using the gym’s software system.

• Answer phone calls and provide accurate information about gym services, programs, and memberships.

• Assist with membership sales, renewals, and account management.

• Handle transactions for merchandise, drinks, supplements, and other retail items.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk, lobby, and common areas.

• Enforce gym policies and procedures to ensure a safe and positive environment.

• Assist with scheduling tours, training sessions, and member appointments.

• Address and resolve member concerns or escalate issues to management when necessary.

• Support special events, promotions, and community engagement activities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Previous customer service, sales, or front desk experience strongly preferred.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Basic computer proficiency (MS Office, POS systems, scheduling software).

• Ability to handle cash and perform basic transactions accurately.

• Positive, professional, and energetic attitude.

• Interest in fitness and wellness is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand for extended periods.

• Light lifting (up to 25 lbs) may be required.

Schedule & Compensation

• Part-time and full-time positions available.

• Must be flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
