Overview
Registered Nurse, Med Surg, York, Maine. This travel assignment begins 06/15/2026 for 13 weeks, with 36 guaranteed hours per week on a night-shift schedule (7:00 pm–7:30 am) in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,698 to $1,816. The role requires active licensure, relevant Med Surg experience, and compliance with state vaccination requirements.

Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate care to adult medical-surgical patients, including routine assessments and monitoring
- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support telemetry monitoring as needed
- Collaborate with physicians, other RNs, and the multidisciplinary team to develop and adjust care plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately in the electronic health record
- Support discharge planning and patient/family education on procedures, medications, and post-discharge care
- Ensure patient safety, adherence to policies, and timely escalation of concerns

Requirements
- Current, active Registered Nurse license to practice in Maine
- ACLS and BLS/BCLS certifications required
- Previous Medical-Surgical nursing experience is required
- Telemetry experience preferred
- Ability to work the night shift and comply with the Maine flu vaccination mandate
- Must have prior Med Surg clinical experience and be able to function in a hospital setting
