Director of Marketing and Communications
Position Summary: Keystone Opportunity Center is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Marketing and Communications to provide leadership and a strategic vision to the organization’s community engagement practices. The successful candidate will bring expertise in multi-channel platforms, promoting diverse programs and services, and an ability to both manage staff and roll up their sleeves to support the work. This position works across the organization and with external partners, participates as a key business leader on the organization-wide strategic priorities, and works closely with the organization’s top executives.
Key Responsibilities:
· Develops and implements strategic communication plans to promote a positive image of Keystone Opportunity Center, increase stakeholder awareness of the organization, and build brand awareness.
· Develops a marketing philosophy within Keystone Opportunity Center and serves as a resource for staff, volunteers, and Board members.
· Provides guidance and ensures a unified image of Keystone Opportunity Center throughout all published materials, advertising, public relations, and special events.
· Manages Keystone Opportunity Center’s relations with the media, including press conferences and releases, media interviews, and public service announcements.
· Creates, designs, distributes and translates Keystone Opportunity Center brochures, reports, internal and external newsletters, marketing and other printed materials, including Keystone’s print and electronic publications.
· Creates regular social media content, monitors and measures the impact of our social media in support of the ongoing programming of Keystone Opportunity Center.
· Develops and designs the content for regular newsletters, one for internal stakeholders and one for external stakeholders.
· Maintains Keystone Opportunity Center’s website, ensuring that projects and program work is current and relevant.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is required
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in content development and social media management
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
- Strong emotional intelligence and ability to work effectively with diverse populations
- Ability to meet deadlines, set budgets, and manage multiple on-going projects
- Experience generating regular content, using a diverse array of communication tools, including social media, print, radio, television, podcasts, and websites
- Nonprofit and/or foundation experience is highly desirable
- Strong proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite and SharePoint
- Experience using Canva, Constant Contact, Adobe Creative Suite, and WordPress is strongly desired

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
