Operations Support Specialist

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Level 1 Cash Posting Specialist to join our Treasury Services team in Hershey, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing, scanning, and posting of revenue-related payments and documentation across multiple healthcare entities. This position supports Treasury and Revenue Cycle operations by ensuring all financial documents are properly received, processed, posted, indexed, routed, and stored in strict compliance with organizational policies and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

Your daily focus will encompass cash posting, mailroom operations, and comprehensive document management. In keeping with your request, the specific duties are outlined below as flowing, unbolded bullet points:

• Accurately post paper batches and 835 electronic payments according to established cash posting procedures, payer rules, and daily processing targets.

• Follow standard operating procedures to escalate items falling outside defined guidelines, maintaining precise documentation and system notes to support audit activities.

• Assist in reducing unapplied cash by following proper reconciliation steps, labeling all batches according to Kodiak guidelines, and verifying successful posting in T24 before marking them complete.

Qualifications

• Experience: Previous experience in cash posting, healthcare revenue cycle, billing, or accounts receivable operations preferred.

• Skills:
  • Data entry skills with an emphasis on accuracy and attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with financial document management systems, lockboxes, and scanning workflows.

  • Ability to balance multiple tasks and process transactions for distinct corporate entities simultaneously.

  • Excellent collaborative and communication skills to work effectively within a fast-paced team environment.
