Truck Driver

Our products include milk, flavored milk, yogurt, dip, sour cream, cottage cheese, Italian cheese, and ice cream mix marketed under the Upstate Farms, Bison, Milk for Life, and Intense Milk brands.

Openings at our Valley Farms Dairy Plant in Williamsport, PA. Responsible for safely and accurately loading, transporting and delivering milk products from the warehouse/depot to customer locations. *$5,000 SIGN-ON BONUS*

HOME DAILY ! ! ! 4-5 DAY WORK WEEK

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

* Safely load, unload, and deliver products at each account.

* Drive truck over established route to deliver, stock, and stage product at customer locations.

* Verify shipment accuracy and salable condition of product.

* Resolve discrepancies and customer complaints.

* Collect empty containers, rejected, or unsold merchandise for return as required.

* Complete daily multiple orders, delivery invoices, and proof of delivery as required.

* Perform Motor Vehicle Inspections on truck to conform to DOT regulations and company policy.

* Exhibit courteousness toward customers, work cooperatively with co-workers and supervisors, maintain neat appearance, and follow established policies and direction of management.

* Maintain vehicle and hours of service logs using an ELD as required by DOT.

* Maintain reliable attendance and consistent work hours.

* Must follow all SOP procedures and complete required documentation/checklists. Participate in continuous improvement efforts to improve products, services, or processes.

* Follow all Safety requirements.

* Ensure compliance with all OSHA, DOT regulations and assist in maintaining SQF guidelines.

Education/Experience:

* High school diploma or GED equivalent required.

* Valid CDL

* Experience in product delivery and customer service preferred but not necessary

Other Functions:

* Ability to read, write, perform basic mathematical calculations, and accurately record data required.

* Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts, as required.

* Must be able to frequently stand, walk, kneel, reach, climb, pull, and bend.

* Must be able to routinely lift over 60 pounds and push/pull up to 300 pounds with a hand-held hook.

* Must be able to work independently.

* Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills required.

* Must be organized and detail oriented.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

* DOT Class A CDL

Pay:

$26.00-$29.00

* The hourly rate as indicated in the CBA. The posted pay rate reflects just one component of our total rewards package. Other components of the total rewards package may include participation in group health and/or dental insurance, retirement plan, paid time away from work, and paid holidays.
