Role snapshot

• Diagnose and repair electrical equipment and systems across the plant.
• Perform mechanical troubleshooting to resolve equipment problems efficiently.
• Program, modify, and maintain PLCs to ensure stable, high-performing operations.
• Collaborate with peers to advance safety and boost operational efficiency.
• Record maintenance actions and results with accuracy and completeness.
• Adhere to all safety procedures and applicable regulations.
• Mentor apprentices and junior staff members as needed.

• Relevant electrical certifications or licenses are advantageous.

Essential functions

• Availability for overtime, weekends, and holidays as required by the schedule.
• Comfort with rotating shifts.
• Consistent safe work practices, independently and with a team.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Capacity for heavy work per the Dictionary of Occupational Titles: lift, carry, push/pull, climb, shovel, walk, pry, work on/near moving equipment, and perform job-specific tasks tied to the assignment.
• Strong critical thinking and comprehension skills.
