Logistics Coordinator
Summary: The Logistics Coordinator executes the shift order fulfillment plan by coordinating inbound and outbound freight, order allocation, and replenishment using Warehouse Management System (WMS) best practices. This role ensures accuracy, efficiency, and timely processing of all warehouse activities.
Shift: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25.00 per hour
Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment & Inventory Control
- Process and close inbound (IB) and outbound (OB) loads in WMS, ensuring accurate time stamps and documentation.
- Verify trailer/container arrivals, departures, and completion status.
- Monitor order picking progress and support timely shipment, including rush orders.
- Report discrepancies and short allocations to management.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, license verification, inspection reports, and secure filing of paperwork.
- Oversee visitor sign-in/out and badge control.
- Ensure FedEx and other carrier shipments are received and dispatched properly.
Inbound & Outbound Operations
- Assign and monitor work for MHE operators and team members based on daily schedules.
- Coordinate trailer moves, yard activity, dock assignments, and load planning.
- Track load arrival/departure times and resolve delays.
- Prepare and verify all carrier and customer-required shipping documentation.
- Maintain accurate trailer and dock records in WMS.
Requirements:
- Minimum High School Diploma or GED
- College diploma in Logistics Management a plus
- 3 years warehouse / logistics experience, preferably with some team lead experience.
- Previous experience with Warehouse Management Information System (WMS), preferably SAP Manhattan.
